The French National Olympic and Sports Committee organized this January the "Night of World Champions 2017" of non-olympic federations. Gold Medal winners of World Championships of non-olympic federations were specially put into spotlight by the French sports leaders. FSGT was present with all nine athletes who won gold medals at the CSIT World Sports Games 2017 in Riga in Athletics, Swimming and Table Tennis.

Those nine CSIT Gold Medallists were honoured by the French Minister of Sports, Mrs. Laura Flessel, herself former Fencing Olympic champion, who was present at the event and handed out that special award. Together with the participants of the CSIT WSG 2017 the award was also presented to three FSGT sports managers, and to Mrs. Emmanuelle Bonnet Oulaldj, the President of CSIT French member organisation FSGT.

FSGT is very proud of that special award and delighted to share the great news with all the CSIT family.
