Gabriela Guzman and Carolina Rebolledo are the tallest members of the Mexican team participating in the 5th CSIT World Sports Games in Riga. Both basketball players are 1.90 meters tall. But Gisela Garciá, only 1.85 m, usually scores most points of the “equipo mexicano”: An average of 25 points per game. The three girls play for Bank of the Army, the current Mexican champion, in their home league. “We are lucky that basketball is played indoor”, said Carolina referring to the rain on the day of the opening ceremony.
