Dear Friends, CSIT Member Unions, CSIT Athletes and Supporters,
CSIT President Bruno Molea received a high Award from the Italian Paralympic Committee
In 2020 CSIT Members will again have a number of events and official championships on international level.
It was the first election for board members of the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) as an autonomous public entity. Luca Pancalli, leading the Movement since 2000, was confirmed as CIP President. “I am very proud for this honor”, stated CSIT president Bruno Molea after his election. “The promotion of grassroots sport has become my life commitment. When we fight to promote sport for all at every level, we often come across physical and social barriers that still divide the world into `different ones` and `normal ones`. But at the same time we can have the fortune to acquire the awareness of the value of sport as a social inclusion driver.”
“Sport is health but also friendship and social cohesion because of its universal language, able to break down any physical or social barrier. Against stupidity, the road is much longer but the recognition of CIP as an autonomous public entity means now a step forward for all the movement, for which we need all to thank CIP President Luca Pancalli, He has done many efforts during the last years. I am proud to have the chance to work closely with him and to cooperate with all board members who represent the best commitment for sport at every level and for everyone, Paralympics and others.“
