"Sport Impacts All" opens CSIT Congress on friday and si focussed on the hot topic "Covid 19 - What's Next?
The preparations for the CSIT Congress Summit on 30 October are in full swing. The invitations and agenda have been sent to all participants. Like the previous meetings, the 42nd CSIT Congress will be held online via the Zoom platform.
The 2nd World Amateur Sports Forum "Sports Impacts All" within the Congress has this time the current topic "Covid 19 - What's Next?”. The public part of the Congress day will take place between 14.00 and 15.30. The internal part from 15.30 to 19.00. One of the prominent guest speakers will be GAISF / SportAccord President Raffaele Chiulli.
CSIT members have the possibility to show videos of their activities during Corona and to present their future projects. A big and very important point will be the launch of the CSIT World Sports Games 2021 in Cervia in partnership with Cesena, Cesenatico and Ravenna (Italy) as host cities and the big presentation of the organising region Emilia Romagna.
Another big point was the CSIT internal analysis of how many sports are offered in total by all CSIT members. At the moment there are 149 different sports that impressively document the strength of the CSIT network. The enormous range of the network underlines the global leadership of CSIT in popular and amateur sports. Also the permanent enlargement of the members, as currently by the new admission of Mamanet Austria.
During the Congress, CSIT will also sign the Manifesto World Fair Play Day, an initiative of EFPM (European Fair Play Movement), CIFP (International Fair-Play Committee) and Panathlon. Several organisations such as NOC Slovakia, Barcelona Players Association and CSIT member ASKÖ Austria have already done so. CSIT is also invited to participate. The manifesto was initiated by CSIT Vice President and EFPM President Christian Hinterberger.
The new EU project "EngageYOU4Sport " with focus on sports and inclusion, in which CSIT will be a partner and the Italian CSIT member AICS will take the lead, will also be presented at the Congress.
