CSIT meets CHINA

General Secretary Mr. Zhang Guoxian and the head of International Department Mrs. Mao Lina from the "China Workers' Center for International Exchange" - an organization with 200 million members - arrived in Vienna for a personal conversation with the CSIT leadership.

Initial positive talks with the Chinese delegation have been hold regarding CSIT membership in the immediate future. President Bauer gave the Chinese leader a substantial understanding of the CSIT, the organization, the values and the visions.

Also the CSIT World Sports Games in Tallinn in summer 2010 were a subject of conversation and the Chinese indicated immediately their interest of participation. Furthermore General Secretary Guoxian informed about their wide interest in hosting CSIT World Sports Games in the future and invited concurrently President Bauer to China.

Finally both federations came to an agreement to start directly after this meeting in Vienna with the accession proceedings.

President Bauer is looking forward to working together with such a big federation and the enormous challenge for the future.
