European Fair Play Movement Congress in Prague / CZE 2010

The 16. Congress of our cooperation partner European Fair Play took place in Prague October 27-30, 2010. The CSIT was represented by President Harald Bauer.

More than 110 representatives of 25 European countries have discussed about the serious topic "Fair Play Education in Schools: A shared Responsibility". International specialists analysed this issue from a philosophy, psychology, sports sociology and sports pedagogic perspective.

All scientific disciplines actually agreed that the Olympic values of sports and the principles of "Fair Play" are an essential contribution for the personality development of young people and in respect of this kind of process not only the schools and universities, but also parents and the organized sports need to take over responsibility.
