Closing speech of CSIT President / Discours de clôture du Président de la CSIT Harald Bauer
The closing ceremony here at the square of towers gives me the opportunity to reflect on the last week, that we have spent together. KALEV Sport association and the city of Tallinn have made a reception to the CSIT movement that nobody of us could have expected.
All of us had quite high expectations and goals, when in January 2009 the Executive Committee has decided that the Estonian capital Tallinn should be the heart and the soul of amateur sport in the first week of July 2010.
And now Tallinn has become a very familiar place that has met all our requirements, even more than that. People of Tallinn have honoured our presence with the best possible hospitality and our delegations have had the unique possibility to discover this wonderful city on the Baltic sea, by day and also by night.
Dear friend Peeter Kreitzberg, dear friends in the KALEV board and dear colleagues that have worked so hard in the organisation of this fantastic sport festival: You all have contributed to this big success of the 2nd CSIT World Sports Games with professional preparation and organisation, with perfect management, with enthusiastic work, which acribic performance and always with this highest kindness. These efforts finally have guaranteed finally 100% guest satisfaction. All of you deserve our deepest respect.
As a sign of gratitude I would very much like to ask a few more persons on the stage, representing KALEV and the games organising committee. Mr. Peeter Kreitzberg, president KALEV, Mr. Avo Anton, general manager KALEV, Mrs. Merike Aava, Tallinn project manager, Mrs. Lembe Laas, organiser gymnastic performance, Mr. Märt Agu, choreographer of the gymnastic performance and Mrs. Piret Ehavald and MR. Ott Ilves, the volunteers coordinators.
You all and hundreds of assisting helping hands around you have had an encouraged idea. You gave all you power and all of your heart to make this project an unforgettable success in the history of CSIT. To memorize the sleek of international friendship in sports, I have to honour to award you with CSIT glass trophies. Furthermore I would like to thank CSIT general secretary Wim Hojenbosh and CSIT sport director Rui Campos for their big efforts in terms of games preparation. The CSIT executive committees has decided to honour KALEV president Peeter Kreitzberg for his outstanding contribution in the development of our organisation with the CSIT plaque of Merit in gold.
Athletes of the world, let's keep Tallinn as a milestone of enjoyable games in our minds and in our hearts. Let's promote this wonderful place in our home countries and let's come back with all our best memories.
From tomorrow on we start already working on a new idea, a new project. In 2013 the CSIT will celebrate the 100 years anniversary with the organisation of the 3rd CSIT World Sport Games. Candidatures are collected and evaluated and the CSIT congress 2011 will decide upon that location of the 2013 games. Be already now invited by heart and keep on supporting our movement.
Herewith I declare the 2nd CSIT World Sports games under the patronage of the IOC, officially closed.
La cérémonie de clôture ici dans ce square me donne l'opportunité de revenir sur cette semaine que nous avons passée ensemble. KALEV et la ville de Tallinn ont reçu la CSIT d'une manière inespérée.
Chacun d'entre nous avait de grands espoirs et objectifs lorsque qu'en Janvier 2009 le comité exécutif a décidé que la capitale estonienne Tallinn serait le cœur et l'âme du sport amateur pendant la première semaine de juillet 2010.
Et maintenant Tallinn est devenu un lieu familier qui a rempli tous nos objectifs et même plus encore. Les habitants de Tallinn ont honoré notre présence avec la meilleure hospitalité possible et nos délégations ont eu la chance unique de découvrir de jour et de nuit cette merveilleuse ville de la mer Baltique.
Cher ami Peeter Kreitzberg, chers amis de KALEV et chers collègues qui ont travaillé si dur pour l'organisation de ce fantastique festival du sport: Vous avez tous contribués à ce grand succès des 2nd Jeux sportifs Mondiaux de la CSIT par votre préparation et organisation très professionnel, très bien géré, votre travail enthousiaste avec cette performance gymnique et toujours la plus grande gentillesse. Ces efforts ont garanti 100% de satisfaction des participants. Chacun d'entre vous mérite notre plus grand respect.
Comme signe de gratitude, je voudrais inviter sur la scène quelques personnes de plus, représentants KALEV et le comité d'organisation des Jeux Mr. Peeter Kreitzberg, président de KALEV, Mr. Avo Anton, manager général de KALEV, Mrs. Merike Aava, Manager du projet Tallinn, Mrs. Lembe Laas, organisatrice du spectacle gymnique, Mr. Märt Agu, chorégraphe du spectacle gymnique et Mrs. Piret Ehavald et MR. Ott Ilves, coordinateurs des bénévoles.
Vous tous et les centaines de bénévoles autour de vous ont encouragé une idée. Vous avez donné toutes vos forces et votre cœur pour faire de ce projet un succès inoubliable dans l'histoire de la CSIT. Pour vous souvenir de l'amitié internationale du sport, j'ai l'honneur de vous remettre des trophées de la CSIT. De plus, je voudrais remercier le secrétaire général de la CSIT Wim Hojenbosh et le directeur des sports de la CSIT Rui Campos pour leur grand travail dans la préparation des Jeux. Les comités exécutifs de la CSIT ont décidé d'honorer le président de KALEV Peeter Kreitzberg pour sa formidable contribution dans le développement de notre association avec la médaille d'or du mérite de la CSIT.
Athlètes du monde, gardez Tallinn dans vos esprits et dans vos cœurs comme de merveilleux Jeux. Parlez de ce lieu fantastique dans vos pays et revenez avec vos plus beaux souvenirs.
A partir de demain nous commençons à travailler sur une nouvelle idée, un nouveau projet. En 2013 la CSIT célèbrera son 100ème anniversaire en organisant les 3èmes Jeux Sportifs Mondiaux de la CSIT. Les candidatures sont collectées et évaluées et le congrès de la CSIT 2011 décidera du lieu des 3ème Jeux. Soyez déjà près et continuez de soutenir notre mouvement. Je déclare ainsi les 2nd Jeux Sportifs Mondiaux de la CSIT sous le patronage du CIO officiellement terminés.
