Lignano - Sabbiadoro is host of the CSIT Congress 2014 and the World Sports Games 2015. The preparations for the CSIT Congress week are almost completed. 150 member unions' representatives from all over the world have confirmed their participation from Oct. 13th - 19th.
CSIT Vice-president Sirpa Paatero from Finland member union TUL has been named as Finland's new Minister for International Development at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and responsible for matters under the mandate of the Prime Minister's Office. Congratulations from the whole CSIT-family and all the best for the future.
... show20 specialists participated in the second Senior Formation Course in Brondby in Denmark. It all took place September 17-19 with DAI as host. It was three days of sharing ideas and learning activities that can be used for the seniors - a boarderless idea.
... showThere is less than a year until the 4th CSIT World Sport Games from 7th to 14th June 2015 in Lignano, Italy. Lignano Organising Committee (LIGNOC) composed out of persons of AICS (host union), Sport & School Agency in Lignano and CSIT, scheduled an update-meeting in Lignano Sabbiadoro at the first weekend of August as preparation for the Games next June.

The CSIT Executive Committee has been decided in its last meeting to hold annually CSIT Congresses on calendar week 42 from now on! The aim is to offer long-term planning security for the whole CSIT community. The official invitation for 2014 can be found on our website meanwhile.
... showCSIT President Harald Bauer and Bruno Molea, President from Italian member Union AICS and organizing committee LIGNOC, signed during the CSIT EXCOM meeting in Austria the contract for the 4th CSIT World Sports Games taking place next year in Italy. The Games will be held in exact one year from now on from June 7th to 14th 2015 in Lignano at the Northern Adriatic coast of Italy. CSIT and LIGNOC agreed to organize all 15 traditional kinds of CSIT sports plus 15 new sports as demonstration as well as some with Italian tradition.
