Tuesday, June 9th - a brilliant first competition day at the 4th CSIT World Sports games in Lignano. A large part of the action took place at the Sabbiadoro beach: Dramatic volleyball matches, stand up paddling, wind surfing and canoeing in the northern Adriatic Sea, football, tennis and krolf (a combination of krocket and golf) in the pinewoods behind the beautiful sand dunes.

4000 athletes and 1000 coaches and accompanying persons are going to turn Lignano Sabbiadoro from June 7th to 14th into a pulsating sports city and participate in the 4th CSIT World Sports Games. All delegations from 33 different countries from all over the world, from Argentina to Cameroon, from Finland to the USA have already arrived – all of them in their national outfit. Portuguese and Belgian athletes were having fun on their first evening in Lignano because they had similar team shirts. The opening ceremony of the WSG2015 will take place on Monday afternoon 17.00 pm in the Stadium “Teghil” in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
